Remote operation...viYVCDS

By remote opening/ operation:

My Skoda Octavia Scout boot operation was modified via VCDS from just unlatching, to full unlatching and opening.....and closing securely completely by use of the standard key fob.

My query is, can the same modification be carried out on the Arona ...?

I also had my 2nd (LHD) fog lamp, fitted on most VAG vehicles, activated thereby giving double the protection in fog.
I'm aware that cannot apply to the Arona because the LH port is occupied by the reversing lamp.
Another feature I'd have wished for was the automatic dipping of the LH wing mirror automatically when selecting reverse gear, however I did not have electric folding mirrors on the Skoda which is essential for this mod to be executed - the Arona of course does, so is this feature available on the VCDS...?

Many dealers will deny knowledge of the VCDS menu capability for one reason or another, but for anyone who has access to one ,they might never have to purchase alcohol again - this being the normal form of payment...!

Is there anyone on this forum who could post the mods menu available for the Arona?

There must be one or two techs working for SEAT / VA G who follow this forum...? If you know one it would be most useful if they could post the menu here, I'm sure a lot of owners would like to see just what hidden options are lurking within their Arona...

Boris, I want the mirror dip on reversing too but do not know the code.

By the way, not everyone uses VCDS because of the expense (I use OBDeleven). Using OBD in the title might be better as it is not software/device dependent.

Also this line of chat is probably better on the Faults and Technical forum. I hope you dont mind my suggestions :).

I started an OBD thread with a view to keeping programming, devices, codes etc. in one place.
