My hubbie and I are trading in our 15 plate Ibiza FR Black Edition for a Arona Xcellence Lux, monsoon grey with a black roof. We ordered the car early January and were given a rough build time of 12 weeks. We havent heard back from our dealer yet so I am going to chase to see if they have a build week yet. How soon did everyone else get their build date after ordering

Ordered an Xcellence Lux DSG in grey with orange roof back in mid November was told rough 9-12 weeks build time, contacted dealer to ask for an update in early Jan, he looked on system whilst on the phone and still nothing confirmed so still waiting 😗. To be honest later the better as may stand a small chance of having Alexa software installed or even better virtual cockpit... that's maybe pushing it a bit though. Lol

I wonder if the Alexa is something that can be retro fitted via a software update. I would have thought the rest of the equipment needed will already be installed with voice activation.

The virtual cockpit is a £400 option on the Ateca, you definitively won't get it unless you spec it through a dealer when it becomes available!

It can't be retro fitted via a software update. I read on a forum over on seatcupra.net (I think it's on the Ateca thread) that the Alexa system needs a Wi-Fi module that will be pre-installed on Ateca's from a certain date onward. (I'm guessing that the infotainment system might be slightly different because of this.)

Hello All,
I ordered mine on the 8th Dec.
My dealers been very communicitave with me.
He called the 4th Jan, to say that the order is in the system.
It would be leaving the factory during week 5 (29th Jan - 2nd Feb).
So it was build last week.
It should arrive in the UK and then be at the dealers he hopes for the 26th/27th Feb.
Mine on the 1st March.
I've gone for Red body and Black roof.

I've bought my Arona from Fife Seat too! I ordered ours the 6th of January but have been told it's on track for 10/12 week delivery. I need to know soon when it will be here as I am doing a VT on my current car and need to put that into process.

I will be phoning Fife Seat tomorrow to find out more info

Ordered our Arona same as you replacing an Ibiza FR - 14 plate. Ordered 3rd January. Visited Dealer today, told build will be during week 10, with delivery around end of March - I think Mid April might be more realistic. Basing this on roughly 4 weeks transport time from BCN to Tyne either direct from BCN or via Santander, plus another week from the Tyne to North Lancashire.

So overall around 14 / 15 weeks.

When I went into my dealers the other day to sign paperwork for mine ready for 1st March, they advised any new orders are now a 4 month waiting list, I guess this will only increase. Mines taken 3 and half months.

Both our cars are build week 10 ... let's see who gets theirs first 😊 my dealers are hopeful of delivery beginning of April so we will just have to see

Hello Everyone, New here.
Ive ordered mine last week, 115psDSG, Excellence Lux, Nevada White with a Black Roof.
Moving from a Diesel Golf Mrk7 SE Tech DSG.
Used to do 80miles a day, change of job and doing 5 miles a day, now.
I was given 12/14 weeks as a time frame from My Dealer.
But said it could be earlier?
I won't hold my breath on that one..
I had a Cross UP! for 3 years when i lived in Germany, Can't get this model of UP in UK.
And used to drive back to UK to visit Family and all over Germany, so those little 3cyl engines work well.
Did anyone drive the DSG 115 yet, as my dealer sold it 30mins before my Test drive, the people that brought it did not want anyone else driving it.
So could only drive the Manual version 95ps.
115PS TSI should be a peach, as the 95PS one was not bad.
