It's goodbye from me

Not been on the forum for a while as since collecting our Arona at Easter it's hardly been driven. Although the 1000 or so miles we've done in it have been enjoyable, my wife has now given up driving due to ill health and as i have a van for work we decided to get a bigger van to use both as a work ...

Re: Number plates on display

the cars on transporters that have their plates covered tend to be write offs/scrap so they are easier to clone if the DVLA don't know that the real car doesn't exist anymore. (not sure if this is true just read it on some other forum a long time ago so don't shoot me).

Re: Second test drive dissapoints

We have an FR DSG. we like the setup but we are in our 30's. feels relatively sporty. The DSG is really good for saying its the 7 speed. (we liked the 6 speed in our previous Yeti). It's really is so smooth you can't feel it change gear even with your foot to the floor. Just a shame the start/stop i...

We like our All Silver FR. I think it looks classy.
Will miss it when it goes in a couple of months.

Re: Photos

it looks lovely and well cared for. I am warming to the matching roof colour option now after a month of owning our all silver FR. Quite a rare sight. soon to be even rarer on our street once we hand ours back in the next few months.

Re: FR Sport wheels paint issue

@Sanchez Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the quality isn't in keeping with the very reasonable price just more surprised at the difference between a Skoda and a SEAT which I assumed were more or less the same. regarding safety the Arona can't be classed as safe in my opinion due to the seatbelt p...

Re: Recall for charger

people actually get a call a week after they collected it? Wow! when we collected ours it came with the wrong colour roof and said they would be in touch after the Easter weekend regarding what they would do to sort it... never received that call let alone one checking if everything was ok. safe to ...

Re: Serious Rear Seatbelt Flaw

I'm sure it is ok most of the time but you never know when you might have to take evasive action. I just can't understand why the dealerships aren't ringing round customers. Just a recorded message would do. just think how much $### they will be in if someone was injured or worse as a result of this...

Re: Serious Rear Seatbelt Flaw

I like how I find out about these safety issues from this forum but get told nothing from the dealer. We often carry my son and our 2 nieces in the back which means using the centre seat. If only it wasn't a motability car. We could get rid of the bloody thing and get something else.
