Re: Standard fit tyres

Now just gone past the 10,000 mile mark so update on the Pirelli P7 that came with the car in size 215 / 45 R18 Fronts have 5.8mm tread, rears have 7.1mm As a summer tyre these seem to have a very long life, if I front-back swap them at about 16-20k miles should be good for over 40,000 miles. Bit fr...

Re: Arona

I have an Xcellence Lux. It just changed the view from normal to Phone status and then back. What am I missing, please? Next to right thumbwheel is a view button, which changes display mode (the normal driving data to phone, and from memory can also display direction arrows when using the navigatio...

Re: Climatronic

If you set it to minimum temp, (sync both sides cold) it should not blend any warm air in, and should feel cold. Climatronic (on auto fan) does keep the fan on low for about half a minute so you don’t get blasted with warm air already in ducts when starting, but should then chuck out cold air. The n...

Re: New xcellence lux

If your car will be ready for collection early-mid August, would be made early July. Very close to the spec changeover Could be either, depending on when it was made vs factory changeover date Had a similar thing last year, mine arrived end July at dealers, but was just too early to get the digital ...

Hi lampie
I thought this was standard equipment on all Aronas above SE so if yours is a FR it should be fitted
Just double check
Full link and media and Nav and 8 inch screen is standard in UK (except SE spec).
Is option in some countries

Re: Spare wheel question!

It will fit and diameter is virtually same. It is of course only for temporary use until normal tyre is fixed, but unlike a space saver can be used for extended temporary period. In some countries Arona are fitted with 16 inch rims and tyres with deeper sidewalls as standard. Seems to be a British t...

Re: Windscreen Replacement

I think it is a light and rain sensor The ones that need calibrating are cameras for lane departure and traffic sign recognition etc (which isn’t available on Arona) Photograph your current one including the areas around the sensor, there have been some horror stories in past of non original manufac...

Re: 1.6 115 TDi pulled...

I think the UK configurator has been updated

No SE Tech Lux anymore
The diesel is now 5 speed manual (SE and SE tech) or 7 speed DSG auto (Xcelence & X Lux)
