My car is a year old now and I still can’t get rid of the sucker marks
White Vinegar rubbed in with old soft rag
Alcohol (vodka also works apparently) can also be used

There are some specialist cleaners like goo off (but not personally tried these) for removing sticker residue

Re: Front wiper blades s**t

Mine have been good and now 15 months old

But if a garage stupidly uses car shampoo on the windscreen, it leaves a greasy film that wipers struggle with. Once this stuff gets on blades they don’t work as well.

Possibly if the wiper blades had been degreased they might have been fine.

Re: Disable trip meter and navigation mini map missing

Does your car have ACC, have you accidentally moved the lower lever on the left. Changing display is done by right handing steering wheel buttons, there are two buttons that look like folders, can change what is displayed using these, within the options, get a sub menu with different displayed items...

Re: winter / all season tyres

Was looking at getting all seasons, and prices have been fluctuating, but many websites no longer offering 215 / 45 R18 all seasons as apparently virtually sold out in UK Good one Seat, fit 18 inch wheels with a tyre size that is likely to be unavailable in a tyre suitable for UK climate. Might have...

Re: Phone switches off when connected to android auto

I have an S9, had problems then bought a new (premium) short cable for the car, fine ever since. On a couple of occasions has failed to connect, just unplug and try again. I think the type of plug doesn't always make contact properly. The phone screen will blank (but phone doesn't turn off) what del...

Re: First Service

Think I paid about £190 at about 11k miles (13 months) and had it changed to fixed services going forward, as I want to keep the car long time, and I am not convinced a 1 litre engine which is quite heat stressed for its size will like extended oil changes without suffering long term. I also asked f...

Re: Condence, normal or not ?

The LED lights do not get hot in use, so no heat means doesn’t evaporate any water moisture

But it should not be getting in, so the unit is faulty and should be replaced under warranty (unless it was cracked by someone, perhaps parking badly)

Re: Electric 'Arona'

Seat have already announced the El-born, a small family sized car The mii has been relaunched as an electric car (but more a short interim solution as car design and tooling was already paid for) Almost certain that more electric vehicles will follow over next 5 years Already been the minimo concept...

Re: winter / all season tyres

Have a bit of a dilemma, wondered what others thoughts are my Arona is now 15 months old and done 13-14k Miles. I either pay £20 and swap current wheels front-back to even out the wear, expecting to change to all seasons around 27-33k miles (but likely to then wear out Spring 2021 which seems silly ...
