Re: Fast Track and 0%

Looks like 0% offer is back 13 Feb - 17 March 2020

Don’t get a deposit contribution, but 0% over 4 years saves a fair bit of interest

Re: Tyre pressures

The middle row with the i is a comfort setting (having the tyres softer, but the manual warns it increases fuel consumption)

I Probably would keep nearer to the top row pressure (measured when cold, not after driving few miles), the thermometer is probably supposed to remind you to check when cold

Re: motor 1.0 TSI, 115 cv

It sounds like you have been unlucky as virtually everyone else has had no problems with this engine and DSG When you say heating problems, do you mean engine at wrong temperature, or cabin is not heating ? If it is cabin not heating then might be stuck flap (which are operated by small electric mot...

Re: winter / all season tyres

Having fitted my Arona with winter wheels this year, the winter has been unseasonably mild. However, back to frost and ice (and locally there are places where field runoff and leaky water mains is causing huge ice patches). Car has been amazingly sure footed. Best bit (perhaps this is cruel) is when...

Re: Dash cams with front assist

Halfords are talking rubbish, they have mixed it up with lane departure warning or sign recognition (which use forward facing cameras by the mirror, which needs a clear view) the Arona is not available with either As already stated as long as don’t cover the light sensor, it’s fine, and wouldn’t be ...

Re: New owner, advice needed

You can tax and insure when onsite... I'd wait until then just in case you need to reject the car. Make sure you have the correct model (seems common mistake) Snowdaddy... With Kessy get them to show you where to wave fingers to lock and unlock car without touching the door handle Don't you have to...

Re: New owner, advice needed

I assume you are collecting rather than it being delivered. Get your insurance sorted, check it has been taxed (normally a DVLA tax receipt printout is given). Physically check it for scratches etc (very unlikely). Feel free to ask few questions or get salesman to pair up your phone (but be reasonab...

Re: Hard Wiring Dashcam

Cannae see them either :( Should be able to attach photos directly (but need to select small or medium to auto resize them). They then display properly. Don’t think they will display if exceed size limit. I did it in another thread (was very easy using iPad, can either take photo at the time or add...

Re: Loud clunking noise coming from boot area

My guess is either a locking wheel nut adapter, just dumped in wheel well, rolling around (but sounds like you have checked this) or something else loose possibly under one of the rear seats. Another possibility is something lose on the exhaust, maybe a loose bracket thus clonking the suspension whe...
