Re: Rear seat lighting

I fitted a light I bought from Amazon. Needless to say it came from China but for £9 it's been brilliant. Firstly, it doesn't look bad in black plastic and I fitted it to the centre rear ceiling. You turn it on my pressing on the lens and turn it off by doing the same again. It has a USB connector f...

Re: Windscreen Replacement

A windscreen fitter told me that he used to work at a garage and when a car came in for part exchange one of the things they would look for in determining a price was to see if all the glass was the same. You always need OEM replacement and not some cheap Chinese copy.

Re: Sat nav updates

I did the same and a big thank you to Ben C for emphasising that you must use the original OVERALL.NDS file.

Re: Tailgate Grab Handle

I bought a new strap on eBay. Made a cut on the inside of the tailgate panel where you put your hand. Put the strap through the cut and bolted onto the actual tailgate. Total cost £7

Re: REAR INTERIOR LIGHT

Hi Lewandowsky I've fitted the light (which was very easy to do, just had to work out the centre line). Now we'll see how strong the magnetic plate is if it doesn't fall off when going over a bump. Then the next thing will be to see how long the charge lasts. Sorry the 3rd picture of the light on is...

Re: REAR INTERIOR LIGHT

I bought one of these lights and it arrived today (all the way from China). I ordered it in black as the roof lining is black. You have a choice of two fixings to the roof. One is magnetic which won't work as the roof lining is too thick for the magnetic to stick to the metal roof of the car, and th...

Re: REAR INTERIOR LIGHT

I agree putting in those LED lights will look pretty poor in a brand new car. I need to speak to a bodyshop that has experience of taking the interior lining out of a car or maybe a Service Manager at a Seat dealership. Failing that I will write to Seat and see what info I can get out of them. There...

REAR INTERIOR LIGHT

I know this has been talked about before since it is unbelievable that Seat did not fit a rear interior light in the Arona, especially since it has a black ceiling. So at night it's very dark in the rear if you are looking for something. Anyway, I was at a Seat dealer yesterday and looked inside a L...

INTERIOR LIGHT

Unbelievable that there's no rear interior light, especially with a black interior roof. I know this has been talked about before and someone suggested buying some small LED lights. I bought a pair but they were very poor quality but no surprise as they were very cheap. I'm hoping someone has come u...
