Re: Check SAFELOCK Owners Manual

Yet another variation. Today I had the mobile phone message on the infotainment screen and the Safelock message on the digital dash!

Re: Six Months in...

Thanks Snowdaddy, excellent review and I agree with pretty much all you said. I picked mine up in December and was lucky that it had the heated seats but was glad they weren't leather (which whilst not as bad as the old PVC, still stick to me when it's hot!) . Keyless entry I had got used to in my p...

If you have linked your phone to the incar blue tooth, that message comes up everytime you turn off the ignition.
Not every time. Today when I switched off I got the Safelok message and my phone was in the car.

You can also get a message something like "Remember to take your mobile phone".

Re: Heated seats - how are they?

The heated seats are very nice when it cold. Not much control over the level of heat, though - just fully on or half on.

Re: Arona vs T-Cross

I would have to raise a question about the Arona's reliability. Twice in one afternoon recently, my 6 month old Arona lost all power while I was driving and came to a complete halt. Dealer initially thought the alternator needed replacing, then it didn't, and the end result was some wiring changes w...

My home adres is near some redlight and speedcams... and they light up on the map.
Well if anywhere is going to have redlight areas as POIs, it would be the Netherlands. :D

Re: Folding Wing Mirrors

Shame it didn't work out for you, ableseaman - customer service doesn't seem to be SEAT's strong point. I will continue with this as far as I can, but will bear your experience in mind. Well my quest for the mirrors I should have had may at last be paying off. I have finally got the Seat dealership...

Re: Arm rest

I recently purchased a bracket to wall mount my TV. Included in the kit were some black plastic spacers for certain TV brands. I've used a couple of them to increase the height of the armrest in my Arona as per photo. It may not be the most elegant of solutions, but the extra couple of centimetres m...

Re: I didn’t know the Arona did this (hints to others)

Interesting stuff, DomesticExtremist. I shall now set myself the task of fiddling with the aircon to try and get start/stop disabled! ☺ I stopped behind a car today and the start/stop didn't kick in. It's quite warm and I noticed the outside temp was a few degrees higher than the aircon setting. I ...
