According to the manual every time you switch off the engine and withdraw the ignition key the driving mode returns to normal.
My 2018 Xcellence Lux 1.0 DSG always returns mode to normal after switching off.

Re: Biggest Arona Niggle

I had the same Sat Nav issue. I chased the dealer and Seat Customer Services. They tried to fob me off, then offered £50 towards me buying my own separate Sat Nav. I declined and kept chasing. They then offered to install the earlier version (which worked fine but out of date) and then, when the new...

ACC braking

I think the answer is probably 'yes' but it's not something I can see. The question is, if, while driving with Active Cruise Control turned on, a car in front slows very suddenly, so ACC activates my brakes, do my brake lights come on?

Re: Biggest Arona Niggle

It feels like there is a metal ring about 60mm dia and a button in the centre.

Re: Biggest Arona Niggle

belknap This is for an Ateca, it's the same for your Arona, it's a bit tricky finding the latch but your headrest will release once you do. https://youtu.be/hP3N1m8RmPw Cheers After being told by my local SEAT dealer that the front headrests could not be removed, as a safety feature, I recalled see...

Re: Front Assist

My front assist also stopped working after a few weeks. Both dealer and SEAT UK deny any fault. My ARONA Excellence Lux is now about 18 months old and the system simply does not work. I hope your experience with your dealer and SEAT are better than mine - they are just not interested!!! You say "st...

Re: Arona FR trip and MPG resets itself

My Arona Xcellence Lux had this fault once or twice in the early days but for about a year, no issues. Suddenly in the last two days it has happened twice. I usually have a display of mpg 'since start' displayed and that's what comes on when I start up. On Sunday the display showed 'operating range'...

Re: Diesel v petrol

When I was ordering my Arona, my main criteria were Petrol, Heated seats, Auto, Cruise, spare wheel and top of the range radio/audio. I was told that I would either have to go for the Xcellence Lux (too expensive) or have diesel. This, I was told, was because VW/Seat had very heavy diesel engine com...
