Re: My FR in black - finally here!!

I ordered my fabric armrest from a local Seat Dealer so it was pretty expensive (£95 if I remember correctly) but fitted it myself as it's pretty easy to do, and it took me (a useless DIY person) about 10-15 minutes

Re: My FR in black - finally here!!

Hi Wowzz, I used to take my car to a similar wash (although it is £7.50 where I live). I now do it myself as I believe the quality of wax/wash I purchased is far superior to what these car washes use, plus the shine seems to last a lot longer. I'm not sure if I will be as keen to do it myself when t...

Re: My FR in black - finally here!!

I am pretty lazy but decided I would try and keep my car clean and without spending a fortune on it. I bought 4 x 1L Williams wash and Wax on Amazon or EBay for £20 as I saw it got decent reviews. I have used it twice now and the car comes up very nicely indeed. It takes me about half an hour and th...

Re: Hot weather parking with windows slightly open

that is really useful tjw. I sometimes take the car on ferries and this will should hopefully stop the car alarm going off when the seas are a bit rough. I also have a dog in the car quite often so thanks for that tip

Re: Adaptive cruise control

I concur with Bonzo, I have the FR Sport and it doesn't have it. To be honest, it' s probably something I would rarely use but I appreciate that a lot of people would like it. It is definitely only on the highest spec models

Re: My NEW ARONA!!!!

Yeah, that's a good point as I have noticed that mine has got better after the first month or two. I have mine in Individual Mode the vast majority of the time with occasional changes to Sport mode when on more winding roads. Unfortunately I have done about 6.5k miles so far as I travel back and for...

Re: My NEW ARONA!!!!

Hi philby123, I got my car about 3 months ago and I get between 44 and 47 on motorway driving where I am usually doing speeds of between 75 and 85. On A roads I get about 50-55 mpg doing between 50 and 60mph Mine is a petrol 1.0 115 TSI. Hope this helps

Re: Excellence Lux 1.0TSi 115

I think it looks tremendous, I have seen one on the road (well, in a Tesco's car park), I think it looks great and if I had been ordering one rather than just getting one from stock, I might well have considered that colour combo
