As a servicetechnician I had a Volkwagen T4 van with an fault in the handbrakelever (drums at the rear) , the lever could slip and free itself. I've had to witness it once, when it rolled towards me, when I was checking the citymap (pre-navigation) , that was a common fault and a recall. but my van ...

Re: How Quick Does Your Arona Demist ?

Technically it is not possible for the aircon to work under 4 degrees C (some cars could have 1 or 2 degrees lower cut off )
Otherwise the evaporator will freeze up completely and no more air is flowing through the evaporator

Re: ACC and Blind spot Detection

Blindspot... you have to have a Led in the mirror. when someone is overtaking you the LED will light up. I don't have this on my FR, but I have front, rear and sidecontrol. It's the same as front parking sensors , but on the sides. When you drive on a small street and someone comes comes towards you...

Re: Reverse and boot lamp replacement help?

Bootlight removal : put something between the short side of the lens and carpeting , It should give a little room and pop out. If not... try the other side. remove the connector. Then remove the metal heatshield, now you can reach the bulb itself, replace the T10 bulb, using a little screwdriver. Wh...

click click click at the sides of the module and that has an connector, you could remove that too, gives a little more room. when this tiny module is out... replace the bulb, and try to refit everything. Re: Cornering fogs

I put LED HB4 / 9006 bulbs in, looked OK, but I got a canbus error ....
you can do 3 things now , buy new leds, with canbus for a lot of money, or buy a canbus-errorfree-resistor or stop monitoring the foglights.
I've been told you can change that setting with OBD2
