Re: Sat nav updates

Finally got around to updating it to 1310 using DiscoverCare (and then overwriting OVERALL.NDS)
All good 👍

Just updated to version 1310 the dual speed issue has now gone single 60 mph symbol on nation limits
It must have been a bug in 1115 suspect its a trailer or good vehicle issue

Glad its solved
Going to try again without using the vW update software. Very annoying. Very time consuming!

Re: New owner and seatcovers

So.... SEAT do make pet-guard covers. I ordered them for my Arona, tried them at the showroom, didn't buy them. I thought the quality was not brilliant (thin material, which didn't look too strong) but more importantly, they covered the seat-belt fixings (with slots in the wrong place to be able to ...

Re: Speed Limit Symbols Since Sat Nav Update

Also getting the twin speed limit signs on the satnav following my update. I just assumed this was because of twin max limits depending on vehicle size/trailer towing. It's not really a problem, just an oddity. Satnav version is 1115 - update using the guidance on this site. The newer version (1310)...

Re: My FR in black - finally here!!

...... you don't see too many black Aronas on the road (don't see that many Aronas at all actually, which amazes me as I think it's a great car, but I suppose I am bound to biased). Having had my car for just over two weeks now, I'm equally amazed that there aren't more on the road seeing as how gr...

Re: Seat Arona SE Technology

The reason I didn't go any higher up the range than SE Tech was from then on they all have keyless technology, which I think is the best example of technology for it's own sake, I can only see disadvantages in having it, Incidentally I like my 3 cyl turbo, but it's not as smooth or fast as that in ...

Re: Biggest Arona Niggle

Only one issue I've found so far is after its rained when I open the door and rain flows off the pillars above the doors it hits the seats, bit of a design fault with the rain channels on the roof line. Other than that all good! LOL similar thing happened to me the other day. Sunshine and showers, ...

Re: Sat nav updates

I find it amazing that car manufacturers (mostly) don't bother providing updated maps with their satnav software. I'm about to do mine having just picked the car up a few days ago - the info on this site is very useful. Fingers crossed that it all still works at the end! [Edit] So.... all is good. T...

Re: Waiting time for new order?

I wonder if they make the cars in a batch, and you're either lucky or unlucky about where you are during the cycle. I ordered my Arona FR 1.5 TSI EVO 150 PS on the 4th April this year. I picked it up on Tuesday (although it arrived at the garage during the 1st week of June) - that's about an 8 week ...

Hi to everyone

Collected my Arona FR 1.5 a couple of days ago.... first impressions are very positive! A great drive so far, with loads of features to get my head around. Certainly knocks the socks off my previous car! The Arona took about 8 weeks to arrive from being first ordered; better than the 12 weeks I was ...
