Recently bought a diesel Arona and found that Adblue needs to be added every x amount of miles depending on driving styles. When added and to put the warning light out the ignition needs to be for 30 seconds. My arona is push button start and stop. So how do I turn the ignition on only?

When I had stop/start on a previous vw you press the button but do not depress the brake or clutch then this allows you just to have ignition on.

In my Juke (whilst waiting for my shiny Arona FR Sport), it works like:

(No clutch)
- 1st press = Accessory power
- 2nd press = Ignition (no engine, but A/C would come on)

(With clutch)
- 1 press = engine start

Yes one press of the 'start stop button ' without pressing clutch gets you 'Ignition only'.
The same One press to switch off the ignition before exiting the car... the radio will go off once you open the door by the way.

For the benefit of the forum if you have a diesel version the 'one press' of the start stop button will be needed in winter in order for the 'glow plug' to warm up and light to go off before starting
;-)

Hope that helps!
