Took delivery of my Arona 1.0 115 Xellence Lux EZ DSG last week.
Very pleased so far, but need some advice on the operation of the Tiptronic function.
What is it used for and how is it operated?
The instruction manual is not much help!

I have only just joined as only ordered my Arona this week so did not see your question until today. I currently have a Skoda Yeti with Dsg and previously has an Octavia with Dsg so have 10 years experience of using this box. I assume your question relates to manual selection on the box. To select a specific gear all you need to do is push the stick to the left and push forward or back to change down or up. Saying this I find Dsg so good I have not felt the need to use this function even when towing a caravan.

Thanks Empcom, your advice is much appreciated. Having never used Dsg before, I was a bit dubious about its use. However, I will certainly give it a go now. I'm getting to grips with my Arona, only had it a couple of months, there seems to be lots to learn. I hope that you are as pleased with yours as I am.
