Decided to go for the all in one with 20% off, but found it a right faff.
Tried to book it online using the eligibility check button, which then takes you to standard service booking, and you have to select the Information check 25minutes free of charge
But then stupid online system wouldn’t offer a date for 2 weeks, and then insisted on a start time and finish time which had to be minimum 2 hours later (for 25 min free check) Strangely it then offered me a courtesy car for a date 7 days before the booking date, but I switched it to while you wait (I guess it just picked first free day even though it chose Easter Monday and garage was closed)
My car has a service indicator which has now started its countdown, but you can’t get the eligibility check done and service on same visit, as Seat needs to give ok, and plan needs to be set up before they can start the service. So I am going to have to book a separate visit (and no doubt wait another 2 weeks) once Seat give the ok.
Verdict so far : nice idea at reasonable price when 20% off, not very well thought out as the booking part of the Seat website is clearly not capable of handling 25 minute eligibility checks. And why is offers courtesy cars on bank holidays is a mystery to me.
