The dealer called and informed me that my car had been built and on the way, been a long wait since January so it should arrive approx. 3-4 weeks hopefully, really cheered me up.

Having tested the Arona it drove like a golf I hired on holiday was really impressed I think that is why I never cancelled the order, can anyone tell me if 3-4 weeks is right for delivery from the factory, I will post some photos when it arrives.

As a indicative timetable :
1-10 days awaiting ship
10-17 days on ship
3-9 days to dealer

I would allow 4 weeks, use marine tracker to follow the ship, some call at Setubal (near Lisbon), where factory that makes Alhambra (and other VW group cars is), discharge at Sheerness, Grimsby, Tyne (pick nearest to your dealer). So further north you are, ship voyage is longer
