If the service Dept won’t look at it, and car is only few weeks old, try sales Dept and get them to put in writing that the car is of merchantable quality, ask for copy of detailed PDI (pre delivery inspection) and ask for a Director to sign a confirmation that it might have been cracked when it was handed over.
If they cannot evidence it wasn’t faulty at time of sale, then they should get it fixed.
