Hi All, does anyone know if the LED headlights adjust automatically for driving on the right? Also, does the speed limit and digital speed readout change to kph? Although I have the digital dash, the system should react the same.

There is a setting in the car part of the Infotainment, where you can set the units to be displayed, Miles or Km. You can also change clock time zone.

Haven't changed it so don't know what else it changes

From the Ateca manual. Presumably it's the same for the Arona LED set up;
Driving abroad

The light beam of the dipped beam lights is
asymmetric: the side of the road on which
you are driving is lit more intensely.

When a car that is manufactured in a country
that drives on the right travels to a country
that drives on the left (or vice versa), it is nor-
mally necessary to cover part of the headlight
bulbs with stickers or to change the adjust-
ment of the headlights to avoid dazzling oth-
er drivers.

In such cases, the regulations specify certain
light values that must be complied with for
designated points of the light distribution.
This is known as "Tourist light".

The light distribution of the halogen and full-
LED headlights allows the specific "tourist
light" values to be met without the need for
stickers or changes in the settings.

Note

"Tourist light" is only allowed temporarily. If
you are planning a long stay in a country that
drives on the other side, you should take the
vehicle to an Authorised Technical Service to
change the headlights.

I just been over to Germany for a long weekend and I did not do anything to the lights.
Was told by the dealer as LED did not have to do anything.
Could not find anything in the manual about LED lights, only mentions for the halogen lights that need stickers.

BUT in the new 2018 Manual found this
Driving abroad
To drive abroad, the following must be taken
into consideration:
● For vehicles fitted with a catalytic converter
ensure that unleaded petrol is available for
the journey. See chapter ››› page 306, Fuel.
Automobile organisations will have information
about service station networks selling unleaded
fuel.
● In some countries, it is possible that your
car model is not sold, and therefore some
spare parts are not available or the technical
services may only be able to carry out limited
repairs.
SEAT importers and distributors will gladly
provide information about the technical preparation
that your vehicle requires and also
about necessary maintenance and repair
possibilities.
Adhesive strips for headlights
In countries where vehicles drive on the other
side of the road to your home country, the
asymmetric dipped beam may dazzle drivers
of oncoming vehicles.
To prevent dazzling, you must apply stickers
to certain parts of the headlight lenses. Further
information is available at any Technical
Service

So now even more confused wether we need stickers on the headlamps or not.

I have had an Official Statement from SEAT Customer care on the use of LED headlamps driving abroad. Here it is Below:

Thank you for your recent contact regarding your SEAT. Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response.

I am delighted to hear of your recent purchase of a SEAT Arona. I have discussed your query with our Technical Team and they have advised that if a right hand drive vehicle is driven in a left-hand drive country, or vice versa, the LED headlights fitted do not need to be adapted in any way.

I hope this information proves useful. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me on the details below.

Thank you for contacting SEAT UK.

Kind regards
