Hi everyone ive been reading the forum for a good few weeks having ordered my 1.5 FR Sport on the 18th January.
Unfortunately im still waiting for a build date which seems to vary from week to week from week 23 to week 28. All unconfirmed of course!
Im afraid the dealer i went to has given me the worst experience ive ever had buying a new car but at least having contacted the chief execs office they now give me a weekly update.
My car when it arrives will be red black roof and silver rails

Which engine and gearbox have you gone for,
there are apparently delays to DSG cars of upto extra 12 weeks (from normal 12 weeks)
And the 1.5 petrol is allegedly still awaiting certification for September sales onwards

This is not true! I ordered my 1.5 at the end of December and I'm taking delivery next week (the car is built and on UK soil heading to the dealers). There are a few other 1.5's out on the roads already too.

Any delays are because of supply problems with the 1.5 from VW.
