Hello Fellow Forum Members,
I just purchased a week ago this lovely looking Seat Arona FR, drives like a dream while traveling over 20 mph.
Under 20mph it’s a little more work to drive, a bit bouncy in 1st gear and a few flat spots in acceleration while the engine RPMs are in the early 1000’s.
I bought myself a OBDeleven dongle and connected it up and I can see a few faults but hopefully not too much to worry about.
However I have noticed the Engine controller software seems well out of date, version 5570 and seemingly a newer version of the software exists 9755!
I bought the car off a fairly big dealer but not a VAG specialist, wondering when I take the car in this Wednesday for them to look at, whether or not they will have the ability to update the software and whether I should really want them to?
The car is under warranty from the dealer I bought it from for another 2 and a bit months and the main Seat dealer is only a few hundred yards away from them, so not to far to push it if any updates goes wrong
Any tips or comments that I should look out for when trying to improve the running performance of my new dream machine?
Many thanks, DD
