Just seen that there is new model abs and price brochure launched dated 03/2018. It appears a new trim level has been added called the SE Technology Lux. it looks like the first edition one but now part of the permanent range.

Would have been nice if they had fitted the Winter park to the Excellence Lux.
The new SE tech Lux is 600£ more then the SE Tech 1.6 TDi 95PS
and you get the 1.6 TDi 115ps engine as well as the other kit.
But the Tech Lux is ONLY in Diesel.
SO how many people are going to go for a Diesel car.

Pretty most people have gone for the Petrol versions. So is this an attempt at pushing Diesel Sales again....
or a precursor to other adjustments to the range.

I'm still disappointed the excellence lux doesn't have heated seats or emergency city braking, poor show for the top of the range car.

Uk spec car does have emergency braking trust me ! It came up ! - you're right about the heated seats but if it's any crumb of comfort I was in fort William and it was Baltic and didn't miss the heated seats , the fabric seats are very comfy

Very disappointing that it is NOT even possible to specify heated seats on any new Arona at the moment.

Interestingly 1st edition versions had them - but these are all now sold!

Why no option?

Nearly put me off buying my FR Sport. Booked in today for retro-fit by local specialist. Will update with comments and photos when car comes back.

Cheers

Good news about the emergency braking, as spec sheet only states it has adaptive braking, linked to the cruise control, which I won't be using in town.

Hi all

Just collected my Arona FR Sport having had heated seats fitted by a company called PDA. Cost around £400 - but very professional job. Seat switch look like OEM. Will provide photos and details on request.

Also had AlloyGators to protect diamond cut alloys by same form. Again happy to provide details.

I'm interested in the heated seats if you could supply photos and details?
