Hi. We recently bought a 2019 Arona SE from a main dealer but it only came with one key. The dealer has had no joy with sourcing another key from their usual sources, with an offer of a free service and tank of petrol instead! Does anyone have any ideas where to try for a new or replacement key please? No problem to get it coded. Thanks for any advice 🙂

Should be able to order a key from any Seat dealer, however if they don’t know where the other key is, it could still be used to drive the car away, so normally would reprogram both car and keys to a new code.

However to some extent the dealer has sold you a vehicle with something missing (bit like only supplying 3 out of 4 wheels), and your bill to get it sorted properly (with missing key deactivated) is likely to be lot more than a tank of petrol

Larger branches of Timpsons used to be able to do spare keys and copy codes from an existing key

Your looking at around £180 for the key from Seat who have to order it from Spain and then around £40 to code it.
That was around 18 month ago
