Very happy with how the little three pot engine sailed up those mountains, the dog being a clue to which ones. But it was weird how the trip contributed to my learning curve on the Hill Hold system. Getting on and off a car ferry means dealing with a steep ramp with anti slip ridges.
I had thought the system got confused but I now think it is partly how I perhaps over brake and the system is recording and storing that input. Or is it an incline being detected, which sends signal to apply the brakes for a second or two. Perhaps a bit of both? It definitely feels like the car takes over in those conditions.
