I thought I knew my Arona ... but I found something new to me

I have a towbar, and when something is attached...the rear beeping parking system does not work, when putting the car in reverse. So the car knows when something is being towed , it checkes the trailerlights constantly (canbus)
Now news there.
The new thing was alway's right in front of me

The car has a trailer in the display !
it toke me more than 3 years to find out

I also think when towing a trailer or caravan the stop/start function is disabled, have you checked?

yes I did, and stop/start still works.
(because it's clever, but can't distinguish a trailer from a caravan or a bike carrier)
The only times Stop/start is disabled is when the airco is on or battery voltage is low... like in the rain with lights on and rear windowheater, also both heated seats
