Does anyone else find it strange that the car has no lighting at all in the rear of the car? Or ma I missing something? Trying to do up seat buckles on child car seats is proving very difficult in the dark as the front lights are not that bright!

This topic has been touched on previously, I think that in future models this will be corrected.
I agree with you Debs, I can relate to your problem concerning the child seat.

If you check somebody had some fitted if you have a auto electrical firm near you then its a fairly simple job
I agree its unbelievable in a car of this price

I fitted a light I bought from Amazon. Needless to say it came from China but for £9 it's been brilliant. Firstly, it doesn't look bad in black plastic and I fitted it to the centre rear ceiling. You turn it on my pressing on the lens and turn it off by doing the same again.

It has a USB connector for charging and 6 months down the line I haven't yet had to recharge.

A good simple and inexpensive solution.

I also got one of those lights a while back based on JAYGEE's recommendation and it has proved very effective.

The lights work fine but will not stayed fixed with the supplied adhesive strip. It suggests using a stronger fixing but I am wary about causing permanent damage to the lining.

How about using the hook side of a couple of Velcro strips glued to the light, they should attach to the roof lining ok without causing any damage.
My light hasn't arrived yet but when it does I think I'll forego the sticky back option in case it marks the roof material.
