Ordered an fr sport last weekend, at the time of ordering I was told it would be 8-10 weeks. I’ll leave it a couple of weeks and contact the dealer to see if that is still the case.

Its the 1.5 Engine that's the problem same throughout the VAG Group some issues with it meeting the new regulations

I ordered my car on 22nd November via an online broker who provided me with the SEAT order number on 3rd December. After E-Mailing Customer services yesterday had a phone call from them today to say that they had a provisional build date of Week 2 in January 2019. They were keen to emphasise that this date could change (slip would probably be a better word!) and I should wait a few weeks and then check again. However this gives me some early confidence that my hoped for delivery date of 1st March might actually be realistic :) .
On 3rd January I was told a definite build date of Week 3. I decided to wait a while before seeking an update. so last Friday (3rd February) I checked with Customer Services again, hoping that the car might be sitting on the docks in Barcelona. Much better than that I was told it was indeed sitting at the docks, but in the UK :D . Transport to the dealership has been arranged and it should be there in 7 -10 days. Very pleased that right from the start when I ordered, the timescales have been adhered to. Well done SEAT!
On order - Arona FR Sport 1.0 115ps - Due 01.03.2019

That’s encouraging to read theforestdweller, I’ve been told by the dealership and seat customer services that my build date is the week of February 18th, really hope they stick to it.

My Xcellence Lux 115 DSG has also just arrived in the UK (I ordered on 7th Nov).

It will be ready to collect a few weeks earlier than they estimated. I've asked them to hold off registering the car until March (19 plate).

I'm really looking forward to driving it! :D

Ordered a 1.5 Fr sport in mid December, it's now in the UK and ready for March 1st, which is 4 weeks ahead of the dealers estimated date.

I ordered my FR Sport 1.0 on the 19th October and picked it up on the 20th Jan.

Like others have said. The biggest delay now is to the 1.5l engines. Issues with interior materials and the such seemed to have diminished somewhat.

It’s a brilliant car, you won’t regret it! 🚗
