Fuel mpg

Have to say I'm really pleased with the Arona's long term fuel consumption.

Just today did a 20 mile round trip to deliver some needed groceries, trip was to a village 400 feet above us so climbing most of the way but coasting most of the way back, madams new 1ltr 115 Arona XL showed 55.6 mpg. Did the same trip a couple of weeks ago in my Ateca 2.0ltr Tdi and it returned 52 mpg so well done the Arona. We have had 71 mpg on the return trip before but that was just the downhill run after a three hour stop over so the 'computer' had reset.... :(

Have to confess that's how I got my reading. The long term figure reset just before I hit a straight, quiet, slightly downhill stretch of road and reached that high figure when I stopped at the lights.
I'm back down in the 40s as per normal now. :)
