I get that symbol but only after starting the car and for up to a minute or so after starting then it disappears? I thought is was normal, sort of 'wait a minute while sensors warm up (calibrate)'. If its not normal I guess I need to get it checked out too.
It comes on every time I've parked for a time facing a bush or wall ... lasts about 30 seconds and then mileage appears. Trying with the car not facing an obstacle. Will report back.
Reading the replies above (thank you) and the small print in the manual, it's the collision warning radar. It's simply a calibration that happens every time(?) the engine is started.
mine is not working, almost one week car , seat arona xcellence auto dsg. I tested alone with cars in front of me , even i stuck behind of cars , and i never take warning messages or brakes alone. Do i have to bring to seat to check?
As cat66 says it's calibration time hence the egg timer icon
