Rear seat lighting

Does anyone else find it strange that the car has no lighting at all in the rear of the car? Or ma I missing something? Trying to do up seat buckles on child car seats is proving very difficult in the dark as the front lights are not that bright!

Utter madness.. I bet the fitting and meter of wire would cost a quid !

This topic has been touched on previously, I think that in future models this will be corrected.
I agree with you Debs, I can relate to your problem concerning the child seat.
FR 115 with DSG

If you check somebody had some fitted if you have a auto electrical firm near you then its a fairly simple job
I agree its unbelievable in a car of this price

I fitted a light I bought from Amazon. Needless to say it came from China but for £9 it's been brilliant. Firstly, it doesn't look bad in black plastic and I fitted it to the centre rear ceiling. You turn it on my pressing on the lens and turn it off by doing the same again.

It has a USB connector for charging and 6 months down the line I haven't yet had to recharge.

A good simple and inexpensive solution.

I also got one of those lights a while back based on JAYGEE's recommendation and it has proved very effective.

Hi all, a quick heads up. You can get these lights on ebay for just over a fiver, got one myself.

The lights work fine but will not stayed fixed with the supplied adhesive strip. It suggests using a stronger fixing but I am wary about causing permanent damage to the lining.

How about using the hook side of a couple of Velcro strips glued to the light, they should attach to the roof lining ok without causing any damage.
My light hasn't arrived yet but when it does I think I'll forego the sticky back option in case it marks the roof material.
