New arona owner.

Post by Jenko » Tue Jul 28, 2020 10:25 am

New to The Arona and Seat, wanted a small SUV and the Arona appeared best value and came out well on most reviews and comparisons, had the car a week and pretty happy, it’s an FR with a 1 litre engine and is quite a quick car for its size, only gripe is the lack of storage in the cabin, only have door buckets and glove box, also gears not as smooth as I would have hoped, a little bit notchy, but that apart it’s a cracking little car.

Hello Jenko,I have had my FR for three weeks and like you find it a cracker, the engine is surprisingly nippy,a little thrummy going through the gears but very hushed at motorway cruising speeds. I have found selecting first gear can at times feel a bit notchy but rest of the gears are butter smooth changes, give the gearbox in yours time to bed in.Lack of rear passenger courtesy light and grab handles a bit of a gripe as well as not being able to permanently disable the stop/start function.Enjoy
