You have to make sure that ' Dynamic Route Guidance' is activated in route options.

Yeah I have dynamic routes on but it doesn't seem to ever pick up live traffic.

I have a 2019 Seat Arona FR, does anyone know what version of the software I should have installed?

Overall, I am happy with my Xlux but my biggest niggle is I think it is overpriced for what it is.

My previous car was a Skoda Octavia SE L DSG 1.4 petrol TSI.

Obviously not possible to compare with the Seat Arona, but I am left feeling the Arona has not quite lived up to the press praise heaped upon it.

There were several reasons I was drawn to the Arona. The primary reason as a disabled pensioner was ease of getting in and out. Full marks on that one.

Second reason was to downsize.
Full marks (but with some regrets.) on that one too.

Then there was the promise of comfort protection on our UK potholed roads.
As the Octavia is a Limo and the Arona is not, The Skoda wins out on that one.

Fuel economy was another of my considerations as whilst I could get almost 60 mpg on a run in the Skoda, it was quite thirsty on short shopping trips.

So far the Arona wins out on about town driving, I shall be doing a long run soon to see how well that compares too.

Another niggle with the Arona which was absent in the Octavia is the steep rear to front rake of the front seats and the lack of adjustable lumber support.

Because the Arona Seats are set higher, this leads to the front edge contact under your legs, eventually causing discomfort through restriction of blood circulation to your legs.

Rather oddly, but we are not comparing like with like here, the Octavia on rough roads used to jostle through its length from front to rear.

Whereas the Arona has quite a violent tendency to rock side to side on rough roads. (perhaps I drive it too fast 😉)

Ironically, the Arona cost 2k more than I paid for my Mark 3 16 plate Octavia, so my expectations were high.

Given a second chance, I should have settled on the SE Technology as in my opinion the £4k+ price difference is simply not worth it, and 17" wheels instead of the enforced 18" on the Xlux probably give an improved ride.

I paid low £19k a month later for X Lux DSG, Perhaps wasn’t such a great deal that I got (nearly £4K off) although DSG is about £1k extra

Same car is now £5k more list price (although does now have digital dash and heated front seats)

You just said 'the price', so I assumed you meant list price. So, yes, looks like you got a decent deal on your Xcellence, nearly £3k off.

The list price for your model has increased by just over £800 since you bought yours.

My biggest niggle with my Arona is that it doesnt have handles above the doors. I am disabled and used them to help me get turned to exit my car so I really miss them. As the "top of the range car" one would presume they would be there.

It’s still the no rear interior light for me, surely they will see the error and correct it in future models, particularly annoying when trying to strap a child in their seat.

Have to agree there too. A back light is a necessity in a car. One minor niggle for my wife is no light in the visor mirror. Cost cutting to the extreme.
