Clock Reset Itself to Zero

When I started the car this morning I noticed the clock was reading zero, it then started running from zero. At the first opportunity I set the time and it seems OK after turning the ignition off a few times.

Has anybody else noticed this? I have not disconnected the battery, or done anything out of the ordinary.

This has happened twice to me. This morning the clock was 45min slow, date correct, all running data cleared to zero with the exception of total milage. Radio was fine. First time around everything reset itself. I thought it was me and some dumbfounded sequence of pressing sterring wheel buttons. This time I noticed from the moment I put the key in the ignition.
Any answers?

My DSG Xllence Lux started today with clock and all mpg settings back to zero.
Seat dealer said that they are aware of a developing issue which is limited to certain batches (mine new from factory Aug 2018)
They are seeking details of symptoms and vehicle activity around the relevant times.

My problems (maybe not related) started two days ago with the SatNav trying to divert me, because of overnight roadworks, but it was the middle of the day. Was it seeing a failing clock time?

Then when I went to reset the time, the menu advised me that I was not on GPS time setting but Manual time setting. This had also changed.
Not sure what else may have changed but Seat dealer said 'nothing to worry about' and could I please give them updates to help build up a database of faults symptoms and possible causes.
They also asked for my mileage (which just turned 6500 on fully functioning odometer). Maybe the problem is 'built in' to the software around a time or mileage?
If you have these issues, please make sure that you report this to your Seat dealer.

Today the clock has reset itself to GMT instead of BST.

just spoke to seat uk who say there no outstanding issues for the clock problem ..which seems very strange as of the number of people who have posted about this problem on the seat forum
The Seat dealer in Ipswich said that there are seeing a number of these and are asking for details of any such events, noting what else was happening at the time. Seat UK have to keep denying it until they have no option. I'm sure that they are quietly working on it and waiting until they are forced to pay dealers to carry out the work.

this is the latest response from seat uk ..regarding the clock problem ..
I do apologise for the issues you are experiencing with your vehicle.

Unfortunately, we do not follow online forums and we reccomend our customers to follow the seat website or dealership for any information.

If the Dealership have information which they are aware of, they will then follow the procedure to escalate it through the correct process to make SEAT UK aware.

Seat customer services are not fit for purpose. On every occasion I have dealt with them I have resorted to emailing the Seat UK MD and getting assistance, and resolution, with the help of his executive office team.

My best example of customer services usefulness was when they told me it wasn't their job to communicate with their own UK head office, when I asked them what was their purpose if it wasn't to escalate issues the silence was deafening!

It hasn't reset to trip and mpg zero for a few weeks but the clock keeps going backwards and forwards, by 1 hour every so often, which is corrected by turning ignition off and on. Then, while parked today, I watched the clock go from 12:56 to 12:57 and back many times. After a while it jumped to 1:03 and has been OK since.

I searched for this fault when it happened to my (now 16 month old) FR 9 months ago but didn't see anyone else with this issue. It then lost all driving data, time and radio stations (except strangely for the one I was listening to last!) but I noticed it was starting the clock at a fresh 0.00. It has happened twice since including today but only resetting time and driving data. The radio stations have only been lost on that first occasion. Each time it happened the car was parked overnight. Will be contacting dealer as I haven't before and will keep forum updated.
