Right! Thanks. It's in my manual that I should find the option so I hadn't realised it wouldn't be included. Do I have to manually fold the mirrors, then?

Unfortunately this trick doesn't seem to be working either! If I press and hold 'lock', a light flashes but nothing moves... Peculiar...

 

SEAT manuals aren't the best, but they do obviously have to cover all options: basically if your mirror switch in the door does have the fold position marked as below, you have to fold the mirrors by hand.

That switch is just to adjust the mirror glass. There's no option to fold the mirrors.

My other half's FR has a fold mirror option on the switch (bottom option on earlier pic). Folding mirrors are clearly not fitted on your car.

All manufacturer handbooks cover all options for every model in the range, inclusion in tha handbook does not necessarily mean these options are fitted to your car.

 

If I try to fold them by hand, they seem stiff and don't move... 🤔

 

Manual mirrors are always stiff or they would move on bumpy roads. A little tap should get them moving.
